After the detailed walk around the house, the obvious repairs were noted. I had many cracks in the brick around the house. Jay informed me as to the process and specific work that needed to be done. This was a 2 day job, because of the amount of work that needed to be done. After the crew cleaned up and left, Jay and I did a final walk around. To our surprise, there were areas that were not on the invoice for work that needed to be done, that was done. Those little touches are greatly appreciated. They also did work on both of the chimney's (which was part of the quote). New shelves and flashing on both. Just in time for Santa. I will recommend North Shore Brickwork and Windows for any repairs that someone might need to have done. Job Well Done ! ~ gary e

We got several estimates for tuckpointing our house. After meeting with North Shore, we were impressed with their straight-forward plan that covered everything we needed, including an assessment of our lintel. The quote we received was comprehensive and very competitive! Everyone who came to the house to complete the job was kind and professional, and they went above and beyond on such a hot day! The tuckpointing and brick replacement they did looks so great. The lintels were also replaced perfectly I would 100% recommend them for any masonry job. From first contact to clean up, working with North Shore Brickwork/Masonry has been a great experience - fast response and a prompt, reasonable estimate and job scheduling. The crew arrived early and did a beautiful job tuck pointing my chimney and repairing cement window sills and a hole between the brickwork and front stoop. They also removed a large cumbersome antenna that had been a blight on my landscape for years. I had a much needed project, the demolition and reconstruction of my wing walls along with an exterior window sill replacement. I checked the reviews of multiple companies and North Shore Brickwork is clearly on top...so, I trusted the project to them. The process was easy from start to finish. Carlos & his crew did a great job. Of course, anyone who tells you that tuckpointing isn’t messy, hasn’t been on tuckpointing job. Dust invades around closed windows and doors, but that just goes with the territory. The Northshore crew cleaned up the site everyday for two weeks. Carlos & Fernando were very responsive, informative, polite and pleasant. The work crews really worked hard and were friendly and respectful of the property. The house looks clean and sturdy. We wanted to freshen up the front area of our Victorian terrace and so employed the services of North Shore Masonry. The works included removal of old tarmac, installation of border wall, and brick planters, new fencing, sandstone paving. The works were completed in a timely manner (5 days) I found Miguel to be very professional, he turned up when he said he would, was adaptable, with the heights of planters for example, always left it tidy during the works, overall I’m very happy with the work he completed and would highly recommend him. ~ Jemima M

We had water issues in our basement and very desperate for it to be fixed. I called this company and they responded immediately. Came out and gave me a fair quote and completed the job within the time frame promised!!. They also did some parching work and it looks fantastic. North Shore carried out mortar pointing at the front and back of our house and their workmanship are excellent. they viewed and discussed the job before giving a quote (very reasonable) and carried out the work as promised. We used North Shore Brickwork for tuckpointing on our Wauwatosa home. They replaced corroded lintels above the doors and windows, and rebuilt a portion of the front elevation that was bowed out. The crew did an absolutely wonderful job and the house looks amazing. I had a tree root that had gotten into my driveway, steps, and deck. North Shore Masonry came out and removed the bad section of the driveway. They got rid of the root and put everything back together. The crew did a wonderful job. They were respectful of the property and did a great job of cleaning up when they were done. North Shore did a great job grinding out the mortar and repointing my house with lime mortar. He also cut out an existing window into a doorway, and it looks like it’s always been there.
